Six members of the KLM team tackled 61 miles of gruelling climbs across the Surrey Hills in the CBRE inaugural property industry bike ride on the 10 July, in aid of the NSPCC. Stars of the day included Nick Morgan who struggled on despite severe cramp and Ian Kitchen who was cycling with a relatively new hip.
61 miles across the Olympic road course took the six riders from the Denbie Wine Estate near Dorking to Box Hill, Norbury Hill and as a final sting in the tail, an assault on Leith Hill, Surrey’s highest point.
The latter was a popular topic of conversation at the event barbecue. A great time was had by all and grateful thanks to the CBRE organisers and to James Andrews for rallying the KLM team.
