Last month Dominic Brady became one of KLM Retail's youngest ever partners. We caught up with him to find out what he loves about his job, what his recent successes are and what he does in his spare time.

Partner in the national agency team, heading a team of six alongside fellow partner Will Thomas.

What was your first ever deal at KLM Retail?
A letting in Lime Street, in the City of London to Harvie & Hudson
What has been your most challenging task?
From April to September 2014 we undertook 26 new store acquisitions for Yours Clothing. I had to go the length and breadth of the country, stretching from London to Bristol to Newcastle.
What are your recent successes?
Winning work to advise Diverso and Les 100 Ciels on their future shop requirements. The sole letting instruction for Capital & Regional on The Mall, Camberley was also a recent success.
What was your previous job?
I worked for First Quench Retailing in Welwyn Garden City and Edward Symmons in Mayfair.
What do you enjoy most of all about your job?
The variety. Every day is different and it gives you a great perspective on all parts of the market. My colleagues aren’t bad either!
What’s the best advice you have been given?
Make decisions and behave like it’s your own business.
What is your favourite city?
Rome.
What is your favourite town in the UK?
Cheltenham.
Who are your family?
Eight-month-old daughter, Lulu Florence and my wife Charlotte.
What do you drive?
Abarth 595. It’s white with red stripes and sounds like a low flying aircraft.
What do you like to read?
The Guardian, mainly for the sport, GQ and Autocar magazine. I’ve got every copy from the last nine years!
What is your favourite meal?
Pizza at the B52 restaurant in Minturno, Lazio.
What was the last book you read?
The Last 10 Seconds by Simon Kernick on holiday.
What was the last film you saw at the cinema?
Sing Street at the launch of the Odeon, Orpington. It was surprisingly good!
What sort of music do you like and who is your favourite performer?
My favourite band is Primal Scream but I will listen to anything!
