The scheme has really gone from strength to strength over the past 12 months or so and it’s now one of the most important shopping centres in the north west of England. The store looks great and it really complements the wider letting strategy we’ve got at The Mall which will see new retail and leisure operators opening in the coming weeks and months. With the redeveloped entrance linked to the new bus station, it’s an exciting time in Blackburn at the moment.”
The 600,000 sqft shopping centre, boasts an annual footfall in excess of 13.1 million which is set to grow further following the completion of the new £5 million bus station, set to bring an estimated 2 million people into the town centre every year. Anchor tenants in The Mall include Debenhams, Next, Primark and H&M.
