KLM Retail's client, Auntie Anne’s, the world’s biggest soft Pretzel retailer, recently opened its 32nd UK store at London Luton Airport . The store is the first airport location in the UK and is the largest store so far in the country.
Auntie Anne’s was founded in 1988 by “Auntie” Anne and her husband, Jonas Beiler, in a Pennsylvanian farmers’ market – originally as a means of raising funds to opening a local counselling centre. There are 1750 stores globally, of which 32 are in the UK and Ireland. The new store in London Luton Airport will be the 2nd location in Luton, joining the store in The Mall shopping centre which has been open since 2012.
The kiosk is located in the airside departure lounge at LLA. Local franchisees Arijit and Monami are delighted to be joining the business and the store will be creating around 25 jobs locally.
Auntie Anne’s has something for everyone, sweet or savoury, something portable, a snack or a larger meal. All of the products are freshly made with simple, honest, wholesome ingredients, the dough is made from scratch on site and everything hand rolled and baked. All the pretzels come with a freshness guarantee, meaning your pretzel would have been baked within the last 30 minutes or less. The store is also selling a full range of hot drinks, fresh lemonade, milkshakes and delicious gelato ice cream.
KLM Retail has been exclusively retained by Auntie Anne's, and have several new and exciting opportunities under offer across the country. We are looking to secure more prime stores satisfying the below requirement:
