Lincolnshire Co-op signs The Botanist for its revitalized Cornhill Quarter

Lincolnshire Co-op has signed The Botanist for its £70m redevelopment of The Cornhill Quarter in Lincoln. The Botanist will join previously announced new national brands, which include Everyman Cinema, Cosy Club, Moss Bros., Flying Tiger Copenhagen, Thomas Cook and Lakeland for the new city centre retail destination. KLM Retail were delighted to represent Lincolnshire Co-op alongside Banks Long & Co.

The Botanist will take 8,000 sq ft bar/restaurant split over ground and first floors and be located in the third phase of the development, which sits opposite to the completed Corn Exchange building. This phase includes a 30,000 sq ft Everyman Cinema and a roof terrace bar with views of the Cathedral. Between this building and the Corn Exchange is Exchange Square, providing a new public space for the city.

Oli Marcroft at KLM Retail, said: “This high-quality brand is testament to the success and the continued momentum of The Cornhill Quarter scheme. We believe The Botanist will fit perfectly into the heart of Lincoln and will further enhance the already prosperous city centre development. We continue to have active discussions with similar aspirational operators who understand the great opportunity that this scheme offers, and we look forward to announcing additional brands in the new year.”
