KLM Retail who have acted on behalf of Jesus College Oxford for over 10 years have now negotiated full vacant possession of Northgate House – a retail building fronting onto on one of Oxford’s main shopping streets, Cornmarket Street, and Market Street.
KLM Retail successfully negotiated the surrender of leases with Next, River Island, Fat Face and Carphone Warehouse, who all fronted onto Cornmarket Street, and Superdrug and Ladbrokes on the Market Street frontage.
This now enables the demolition and redevelopment of the building to start which will create 40,000 sq ft of new retail space on basement, ground and first floors, to be available in 2021, together with new teaching and residential facilities for the College to the rear and above the retail space.
