202 Kitchen is looking for stores in key regional locations, with 3,000 sq ft minimum. The company, which has grown over the last two years from pop up sites in Manchester and Birmingham, specialises in street food dining.
As well as its 6,000 sq ft site in Manchester, the group has also secured sites in locations in Birmingham and Newcastle and is actively looking for more sites across the country.
KLM Retail are delighted to be advising 202 Kitchen on their acquisition plans.
"In addition to Spinningfields, we have also secured sites in Birmingham and Newcastle and are in active discussions on sites in Cardiff, Edinburgh, Leeds and Essex. 202 Restaurant's customer base includes a fashionable 18-40s crowd, as well as families with children, office and corporate customers,” said Oli Marcroft, who heads up our leisure team.
"Their leading social media marketing – over 50,000 followers on Instagram – and collaborations with Pretty Little Thing, Missguided, Misspap and Oh Polly - have stepped up the brand's profile and created a high level of demand. The brand's vision is to secure 10 UK sites, before growing internationally."
Metis advised CBRE Global Investors, the landlord at Spinningfields.
