James is a KLM Partner with over 35 years of experience in retail property. He has advised on a wide range of projects including London Estate Strategies, Shopping Centre asset management, High Street developments and retailer expansion and portfolio strategies.
Clients include The Crown Estate, South Kensington Estates, The Bedford Estate, The Langham Estate, Aviva, Imperial London Hotels, Gonville & Caius and Trinity Colleges, Cambridge, The Mercers Company and Sorbon Estates. James has worked closely with major retailers such as H&M, Jones Bootmaker, Kiko Cosmetics, Ferrari, Boggi and Swatch.
Current projects include, Estate strategy and leasing for The Crown Estate's London Retail Portfolio, Aviva's redevelopment of Nuffield House, Piccadilly, Leasing & Development advise for South Kensington Estate's Brompton Road & South Kensington portfolio; Landlord and Tenant advice for private clients in Marylebone and advice to Sorbon Estate across it's Marlow portfolio.
James’s passion for retail property comes from the diverse and constantly varying challenges it delivers and most of all the great friendships made. Out of the office James is a keen road cyclist and occasional triathlete – combining both with an appreciation of a good pint with friends.
